Otonga Primary 30 kW

Otonga Primary School is the first Schoolgen School in Rotorua, and the largest solar array in the Schoolgen Programme with a total of 120 photovoltaic panels.

There are in fact 6 separate solar arrays on different roofs across the school !

This graph below uses the latest technology to show live solar generation AND how much electricity the school is using from the grid down to the last 5 minutes. The solar generation is shown in yellow, and if you click 'Show More' then you will see the electrical energy coming from the Grid in orange (below the zero line).

The GRID data is correct for the whole school from the 5th of December 2016 (before this it is not accurate). It also shows if any solar generation is not used in the school and is being sent back to the Grid for a small credit (look for the orange bars above the zero line).
