Mangakahia Area School is situated in Titoki 30km north west of Whangarei. Our small rural learning community has a strong tradition in kaitiakitanga, caring for and being guardians of our natural environment. Mangakahia Area School is one of a handful of EnviroSchools holding Green-Gold status in Northland. Our students, whanau and staff see the installation of the solar panel array as a further step towards reducing our environmental footprint and producing a more sustainable future.
