Renewable energy solutions

Renewable energy is made from naturally plentiful resources that don’t run out, such as wind, water and sunshine. Non-renewable energy is a source of energy that will eventually run out. Most sources of non-renewable energy are fossil fuels, such as coal, gas, and oil. These sources of energy are not sustainable.

This resource explores energy sources and the impacts of each source on the environment. Students will understand the difference between renewable and non-renewable energy sources and describe their many uses.
