Te Kowhai School
Te Kowhai School is a decile 10, semi-rural, full primary school which currently has a role of 280 pupils and is situated in Te Kowhai Village 7kms North West of Hamilton.
We have a well-resourced school, both in terms of facilities and equipment and with a high calibre of staff members. We pride ourselves on being a friendly school, family oriented with a high level of community spirit with supportive parents and enthusiastic students.
Our children enjoy school and are keen to learn and achieve success.
The solar panels will be installed on the roof of a classroom and will provide our students with the opportunity to learn about and participate in the use of a sustainable and renewable energy source. The Schoolgen project links in well with other environmental initiatives we have to enhance our school.
We are proud to be a Schoolgen school and are hugely appreciative of their generous support.
