Hampton Hill School - Wellington City - 4 kw

Hampton Hill School is nestled in park like surroundings in the hills of Tawa. The school opened in 1965. We are a small school with a big heart for caring about each other and the environment.

Our fabulous grounds are extensive and are made up of three levels. Classroom Blocks are situated apart with a hall and playing field on a level in between. The surroundings are perfect to educate children about taking care of our environment and sustaining the natural beauty of our school.

Hampton Hill School has a team of talented teachers and support staff and we are part of a wider supportive learning community. We value the diverse ethnicity of the all students which allows us to provide a rich and dynamic background for learning. Our students are valued and supported to make choices and to take responsibility for their decisions. We are committed to providing high quality education where children are encouraged and challenged to reach their full potential.

We are passionate about caring for the community and providing our students with the practical knowledge and understanding for a sustainable environment. We are an EnviroSchool and in 2014 we are proud to become a Schoolgen School. It’s exciting to now be producing some of our own electricity on-site!

Check out some of what we are up to and learning about on our school blog!
