Hamilton Girls High School - Hamilton - 2 kw

Hamilton Girls' High School is excited about the prospect of being involved in the Schoolgen Project which fits in with the school's commitment towards sustainability across the curriculum. We have been working towards hosting sustainability classes in each year level. With us being involved with Schoolgen and having students see for themselves how we can make a difference to our environment while saving on power this is a bonus. The school with its many buildings and expansive roof space allows us to have installed a solar panel which will create a major teaching point which will be useful and beneficial in the science field and hopefully will enable our students to become fully immersed in energy efficiency and that they will carry this on to adulthood.

Involvement in Schoolgen puts HGHS to the fore in educating our students towards developing healthy and proactive ways of dealing with sustainable products and establishing life long methods of adding a valuable contribution to our planet's survival.
